Umdloti Beach has a variety of small shops, a supermarket, garage, restaurants, bars, Post Office and laundromat. The bathing beaches are protected by off shore shark nets and there are lifesavers on duty during the holidays and weekends. We are 8km from Umhlanga Rocks and 20 minutes from Durban. 


ON THE BEACH


• Swim at the beaches manned by life guards and between swimming beacons.
• Avoid bringing valuables to the beach
• The African Sun can BURN - use a high sunscreen factor sun protection cream.
• Do not take breakables (e.g. glass bottles) to the beach.
